A 3D Future?: Video Marketing Examples #95

There’s so much ‘new’ video content landing on a daily basis, that it can be hard to step beyond that, and look at what the long-term future of video marketing might look like.

Then you see something like this from BMW…

When launching their new vehicle, the BMW XM, they took the bold decision to use a 14,000 square foot billboard in Times Square - propelling the car from its garage, right into the heart of New York City.

BMW are the latest to try their hand with 3D video ads, following on from brands like Nike…

Activision…

And WhatsApp/Meta…

Who have all tried a similar approach and, if nothing else, turned lots of heads and gained plenty of column inches.

Technology like this is still incredibly cutting edge and far from ubiquitous - but it’s interesting to see major brands using it, and prompts the question: how much of a role DOES technology like this play in the future of video marketing? 🤔 

It’s certainly something to keep an eye on!
