Choosing ONE Thing: Video Marketing Examples #60

One of the biggest challenges in creating marketing content is choosing which benefits and features to shout about.
We’re all so passionate about our products and services that this process doesn’t come easy.
Debate rages as to ‘how much’ you can include in an ad or explainer video.
But here’s an interesting exercise, if nothing else: what if you could choose just ONE thing… and really drill down on it?
Here’s stock-trading app eToro with a perfect example, picking out ONE aspect of their offering, and building a full 20 second ad around it.
Hypothetical question:
If eToro had created a 20 second ad featuring 5 key selling points - perfectly doable - how many of those selling points would the viewer remember an hour later?
And how does that compare to the number of viewers who would completely digest the fact that eToro offers 0% commission on stocks, from this 20 second ad?
Let’s be clear: Hammering home your message in a minute or less takes skill and planning.
