Does your product or service have a ‘golden moment?’
A moment of interaction between the customer and the product/service that creates great relief, satisfaction or pleasure?
There’s a lot to say about pretty much every product.
A lot of features, benefits and selling points.
But truly connecting with your audience - in a time-poor, attention-starved world - often lies in isolating and communicating your ‘golden moment.’
KFC’s ‘First Bite’ campaign goes back to basics: no talk of ingredients, quality, service, pricing or value.
Just a simple prickling of the audience’s collective memory and imagination: the pure happiness of that first bite.
Different products and services have different ‘golden moments.’
For furniture companies, it might be that first slump into a sofa or armchair at the end of a long, tiring day.
If you’re selling bottled water, perhaps it’s the icy cold first gulp of refreshment.
For us, maybe it’s the moment our client first sees their vision come to life in that first cut of a beautiful animated video.
But the point remains: if you’re struggling with your messaging, maybe the best place to start is your ‘golden moment’. And, if you’re like KFC, maybe that moment alone is enough to build a whole campaign around!
