As the world slowly but surely reopens, there’s one simple item near the top of many people’s post-lockdown to-do list: a haircut. 

Yes, many people are re-emerging into the world, not only with a newfound appreciation for life’s small pleasures - but a whole lot of extra hair!

The team at Locks of Love have decided to turn that ‘negative’ into a ‘positive’ by launching the Cut the Quarantine campaign. 

Locks of Love is a charity that donates hair to children suffering from hair loss, whether that’s through alopecia, burn trauma or cancer: an incredibly meaningful and important mission.

They chose to tell the story, at least partly with an animated video. This playful, hand-drawn video seeks to make hair donation seem less intimidating. It’s also designed to inspire people who maybe let their hair grow longer than they normally might - that there’s a real way to use that to benefit others.
