Sportswear and marketing are a match made in heaven.

When it comes to launching a new team kit, branding and marketing are crucial to communicating the design subtleties and identity of a new kit to supporters. This stuff really matters to fans!

Danish sportswear manufacturer Hummel understands this very well.

And that’s proved perfectly by their recently released launch videos for the new Denmark men's and women's national football teams.

The women's launch video is an animated, comic book-style story embellished with several graphic elements from the kit itself.  

The video tells a compelling and empowering story - showcasing the kit's design and features. At the end, the animated characters blend into the real players wearing the new kit, creating a seamless transition from animation to reality.

The heroic style of the video is a perfect fit for the launch of a women's kit With the increasing visibility of elite female athletes, countless young girls are being empowered to take up sports and follow in the path of newly created heroines.

The men's kit launch video is also animated but with a clearly different style.  

The kit is inspired by Denmark's victorious team of Euro 1992, and the video tells the story of how today's players were inspired, from boys to men, by that success.
