What if...? Video Marketing Examples #155

This week’s example, from Wellsoon, shows that it can be as simple as a single question:

What if?

“What if your knee or hip stopped giving you jip?

What if you could choose to have self-pay surgery in 4-6 weeks from meeting your consultant?

What if you could be back to your best sooner than you imagined…or on holiday faster than you dreamt?

What if there were no hidden fees, you could pay on flexible finance, and it all cost less than you thought?

What if we're called 'Wellsoon' for good reason?!”

There’s so much to like about this video. We could write a whole email about the animation, the whimsical characters and scenarios which represent the target audience in a subtle, sensitive way. The beautiful way in which we see happy, energised characters getting back to the things they love - gardening, travelling, and sports.

But this week’s object lesson is all about the script.

By asking ‘what if?’ in this repeated way - 5 times in 30 seconds - the script forms a sort of mental checklist. The viewer is able to nod along, the proposition becoming more attractive with each passing imagined scenario, before the big reveal - this company is called ‘Wellsoon’ for a reason.
